Areas of specialization of College of Agriculture graduates
College of Agriculture graduates can work in all departments of the Ministry of Agriculture’s directorates, also in some factories that belong to the Ministry of Industry, and in all civil and municipal departments in the governorates of Iraq. In addition, graduates can work in Iraqi private sector companies, such as sugar and oil factories in Babil Governorate. Furthermore, can work at laboratories for soil, water and plant analysis, as well as all environmental departments. Also, the graduate can work in the production of agricultural fertilizers, treat all agricultural wastes, and use them as an alternative source of energy. Moreover, everything related to animal production, such as work on developing all new sources of feeding and raising animals, fish farms, and zoos. In addition, to the cultivation and production of all food fungi, biological resistance to all agricultural pests, and the use of genetic diagnosis to detect all plant and animal diseases.
Prospects and doors are always available to College of Agriculture graduates, so the multiplicity of specializations as well as departments with diverse agricultural capabilities according to the type of study gives agriculture graduates capabilities and knowledge that make them able to integrate into society.
